October 13 marked Week 30 of this little challenge. I wrote and posted the first part of the "Kernels and Bits" story. I continued to work on that through Weeks 31 and 32. I have not yet finished it, but it's much further along. I plan to finish it as soon as I can.
It's now November 1. That's the start of National Novel Writing Month, which is something I've participated in for eight years now and plan to continue.
To avoid burning myself out completely, my goal is to make a weekly post consisting of what I've written of the novel that week... whether it's one word or ten thousand. Those posts will take the place of the weekly stories I've been writing.
Starting in December, we'll go back to the story per week format.
This will be your opportunity to see me struggle to write 50,000 words of original fiction in a month.
Hopefully it won't be too much of a struggle to read.
Thanks as always for your support.
